A Brief History

Refound Hope Foundation was born from pain… the kind you cannot ignore.

It began with the sight of a child who wanted to learn but had no school to go to… a sick mother who held her chest in silence because help was too far… young people full of dreams but trapped in a life with no opportunity… and voices behind prison walls, crying for a second chance no one was willing to give.

These were not just stories… they were real lives, real tears, real heartbreak. In those moments, we realized something painful— many people are not lazy, not hopeless… just forgotten.

And so, Refound Hope Foundation was created… to reach where help is missing, to stand where others have walked away, to bring education, healing, empowerment, and restoration. Because no one deserves to be abandoned by hope.

2021

Refound Hope Foundation was established as a charity/community based organisation with the primary focus to reducing the rate of poverty, hardship and pain in the society and giving a fairer future to the less privileged people.

2025

Refound Hope Foundation was fully and legally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission Nigeria (CAC), and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and certified as a Designated Non-financial Institution (DNFI) by special control unit against money laundering.

Our Mission

To restore hope and dignity to vulnerable individuals and communities by providing education support, accessible health outreach, empowerment opportunities for women and youth, and rehabilitation programs for inmates.
